IIRC, though - Mine had the two-position locking holes, but fired from a closed bolt, just like a 10/22, and not from an open bolt.I attended my local clubs monthly rimfire benchrest match with my stock 10/22, a 3x9 scope, and bulk ammo . Needless to say I was ill equipped but the organizer let me shoot his CZ 457 and I was hooked. I picked up a CZ 453 that my LGS had and added a Burris 5-25 scope.

It brought the trigger down from over 6 pounds to a very comfortable 1 pound 7 ounces on average with my Lyman Digital Scale.
