The main use for Karils is Magic Defence and I believe it is the strongest Magic Defence armor without a Melee Attack negative, which is why you might see it used more for Melee than for Ranged. Honest question. I just can't tell why. When I asked on how to upgrade from my b dhide top some clan members told me to buy arma/karil's. Now, arma is wayyy to expansive for me, so I looked up Karil's. The offensive stats on it are the same as dhide. Melee def stats are worse.
