The old scanners worked fine with a amplified speaker plugged in the headphone jack. The jack the on the sds100 is dummied down so low a amplified speaker don't help much. Charge at a constant 700 mA until voltage reaches 4.2V (at which point it will be about 60% charged). 2. Continue charging at a constant 4.2V until the charge voltage drops to 100 mA (at which point the battery is charged). Of the other two, the top one is 4.8 amps, and the second one is 4.8 amps, or if using both ports, 2.4 amps per port. Now, out in the middle of the Service Types list, <Right Click on a blank spot. The REM-820S is an SMA mount designed specifically for use with the SDS100. It will fully seat on the scanner, and has an o-ring to maintain the weather resistance of the scanner. The REM-800B is the same antenna, but with a BNC mount. You would use the SMA-BNC adapter that comes with the scanner.. 1940

My beloved SDS100 started acting up this morning, and I can't figure out what might be wrong. The issues I describe below seem to have started this morning when I turned off all my favorites lists, except for two digital trunked systems (one of which I reprogrammed last night).The SDS100 does everything a scanner can do. TETRA is a niche system type in North America, whereas ProVoice (EDACS) was fairly widespread, and still is to some degree.These are listed here as well. Since the introduction of the BC250D scanner Uniden has used a standardized 12-digit serial number protocol as follows: 383Z88123456. SDS100 on Site 64 RSSI -80dbm steady with 0 D-errors strength bars remain constant and "DATA" is displayed constantly while on hold as well as all the sysinfo I want dispalayed stays in view. SDS100 on Site 63 RSSI -90dbm fluctuates to -95, D-errors 20 ( would be an approximate average ) this fluctuates from 0 to as high as 90.The REM-820S is an SMA mount designed specifically for use with the SDS100. It will fully seat on the scanner, and has an o-ring to maintain the weather resistance of the scanner. The REM-800B is the same antenna, but with a BNC mount. Now, out in the middle of the Service Types list, <Right Click on a blank spot. It has firmware 1.10.00 and sub version 1.02.01. The Sentinel update to 2.03 went fine and now has the new tuning steps for custom searches, but I don't have any need for them. Just received by SDS-100 was not receiving anything and was returned to Uniden. Received the unit back today and still no radio traffic. Repair that was performed was cold solder joint. Explained in my note to them have worked with radios since the 1980's. That works if you are picking a specific choice, such as Normal, Wide Invert, Global, etc. But if you are using Auto, the display only shows "Auto", not which choice it found was the best match. K. Normally, they should last a least a few weeks to a few months if the main battery is dead. If the main battery is dead I've had mine work fine 6mo+ later. The old scanners worked fine with a amplified speaker plugged in the headphone jack. It also uses a battery pack instead of AA batteries. The newer SDS100/200 models are basically programmed and work the same way as the 436/536 models with a few extra features. When the Software Defined Scanners came along with uniden punching through the market with their flagship SDS100/200 I thought it was worth a shot . From Scotland UK the EU variant SDS200E was chosen and purchased from Lynch and Sons. Download the file "SDS-100_V1_10_00.bin" and "SDS-100_SUB_V1._02_01.firm" and put those files on the SD card in the firmware folder.
